英语语音教与学的目标：

 A  lofty  goal:to  sound  like  native  speakers

A  modest,realistic  goal:

to  be  able  to  communicate  in  English,and  for  this  purpose  to  develop  a  clear ,understandable  pronunciation  with  appropriate  intonation  and  rhythm.

Why  the  modest  goal:

Because  pronunciation  is  one  of  the  most  difficult  aspects  for  adult  learners  to  acquire.

English  and   Chinese  differ  systematically  in  their  pronunciation  systems

Vowls:a  speech  sound  produced  without  occluding,diverting ,or  obstructing  the  flow  of  air  from  the  lungs.
